Landscapes installed as part of new construction projects are the largest part of Designscapes’ business. We work with several builders in the Lubbock area ranging from modest custom homes to exclusive high end homes and estates in Lubbock’s most prestigious new neighborhoods.  We are proud to have won several awards associated with our new landscape construction projects.  A few of the builders we work with include Clearview Custom Homes, Homestead Building Tradition, and Mike Thoma Construction.

We believe that Lubbock Designscapes offers a unique value proposition to both homeowners and builders, which is the reason builders continue to seek our services on their most prestigious homes and for their most demanding clients.  There are no “standard” packages.  Just as you expect creativity and uniqueness with the design of your new custom home and attention to detail and quality during its construction, you expect the same with the design and installation of your landscape.  The builders we work with understand this.

We design your landscape as if the design aspect is a project of its own, not an afterthought to the installation. Your landscape is designed based on the architecture of your house, the goals for the entry of the home, plans for entertaining in the backyard, and all input from the homeowner. Architectural drawings and blueprints are completed, reviewed, and signed off prior to beginning the installation.

As part of the design process, we are happy to show examples of previous work, including addresses and even onsite visits to landscapes we have designed and installed.

All design and consultations with the homeowner and the builder are included for no additional fee.  We welcome as many meetings and drawings as are needed to ensure client satisfaction.

We can provide itemized and accurate estimates for all work following the design process.

We are a full service landscape design and construction company, offering many services including irrigation systems, drainage solutions, concrete work, hardscapes, trees / planting, arbors and pergolas, large boulders, all types of water features, and site dirt work.  We also have experience designing outdoor fireplaces and fire pits, outdoor kitchens, benches, swimming pools, and many other aspects of outdoor living.

We interface well with homeowners, working with the utmost professionalism while ensuring they are completely satisfied.  Whereas all builders and new homeowners work off a punch to complete and sometimes fix small items following the completion of a new custom home, it is a trademark of Designscapes to react immediately and, when appropriate, interface directly with the customer to ensure their 100% satisfaction.

Lubbock Designscapes is licensed and insured to protect both the homeowner and the builder.

Builders and homeowners receive contractor pricing.  Additionally, we do not require upfront payment.  Payment is expected following completion of the project to the customer’s satisfaction.
